This dissertation aimed to analyze the impact of the PIBITI/IFMA actions on the generation of IP assets and the promotion of innovation from 2018 to 2024. The applied research adopted a qualitative-quantitative, exploratory, and descriptive approach, based on data collection to construct indicators using text data mining (TDM) techniques through the Voyant Tools platform. The results indicated a total portfolio of 119 industrial property assets during the period, with a predominance of Computer Programs (57%) and Patents (31%). Correlational analysis demonstrated that researchers active in the PIBITI program were responsible for the majority of the institutional technological output during the time series: accounting for 64% (24) of the 37 patents and 51.4% (35) of the 68 registered software. From 2021 onwards, an influx of external funding (FAPEMA) and a gain in scale were identified, with an increase from 33 to 69 PIBITI projects in the following year. This strategy resulted, in the 2023/2024 cycle, in a disruption of the IP filing pattern, which jumped from an annual average of 13.2 (2018 2022) to 26.5 (in 2023/2024). This advancement in technological production occurred concurrently with scientific output, suggesting synergy. However, the research identified an absence of technology transfer contracts for these assets, shaping a new institutional challenge: the 'transfer gap,' where one of the main identified obstacles is the disconnection between projects and market demands. However, upon analyzing the "Library" tab, it was found that it only provides basic functions, such as searching the collection, checking and renewing loans, making it not very functional. Therefore, the objective of this work was to develop improvements to the library services of UFMA Mobile through a user-friendly interface design that allows for updating functionalities to stimulate interaction between the user and the application. The methodology adopted consisted of applied research. Regarding the objectives, it was characterized as exploratory and descriptive, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Bibliographic research was used as a technical procedure for theoretical grounding, while data collection was used for information processing. A technological mapping of software and apps was carried out on the websites of the 69 Brazilian federal universities active on the Ministry of Education's portal, in the INPI Computer Programs database, and in the App Store. In addition, a questionnaire was applied to the UFMA academic community to assess usability and functional needs with the application, obtaining 459 responses from a sample universe of 1,077 participants. Data analysis identified the functionalities that most interest users, such as book reservations, return alerts, loan renewals, fine payment methods, issuance of clearance certificates (no outstanding debts), and access to academic databases. Based on these results, five use cases were developed, a prototype of the new "Library" tab interface was created, and an operational manual was produced. It is concluded that expanding the application's functionalities can contribute to improving the efficiency of the SIBi/UFMA library services, promoting greater accessibility to information and a more satisfactory user experience. Training for education professionals in copyright is essential, as they can act as both authors and users of third-party works in their roles, especially given the increasing democratization of the means of production, transmission, and distribution of audiovisual content. The adopted methodology is applied in nature and was based on bibliographic and documentary research as a data collection technique. To this end, sources published between 2015 and 2024 were consulted from the Periódicos CAPES and Google Books databases, with a focus on copyright in the educational context. Additionally, the study used a qualitative approach for idea generation, employing techniques such as brainstorming for creative problem solving. Project management was structured using tools from the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) methodology and BPM (Business Process Management) process mapping. Based on these premises, a course on best practices for using third-party works in an educational setting was developed. This course was implemented in a school in the city of São Luís (MA), and its effectiveness was validated. As a result, it is expected that the framework will contribute to the simplification of its replication, reducing operational difficulties by defining techniques and procedures. The framework also aims to guide teachers in identifying that not all content is freely accessible or in the public domain. The research, qualitative in nature, descriptive and explanatory in character, adopted the case study as its methodological strategy, based on the analysis of institutional documents from Inova Maranhão and the mapping of records at the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). The results indicated that, despite institutional advances between the editions, the strategic use of IP remained limited. Gaps in technical-legal knowledge prevailed, with a low number of registrations and cases of rejections due to formal errors, revealing the absence of structured monitoring and incentives for the formalization of developed assets. The main obstacles identified were the lack of specialized support, high costs, the early stage of the ventures, and limited awareness of protection mechanisms. As a technical-technological product, a didactic material was developed in the form of a learning path, integrated into the Inova Maranhão online platform, aimed at the practical training of entrepreneurs. It was concluded that formal protection should be incorporated from the early stages of innovative businesses and that its effective appropriation requires integrated public policies, qualified institutional support, and continuous training initiatives. The study also recommended revising funding calls and establishing mechanisms for mapping and monitoring, in order to strengthen the culture of innovation and the institutional role of FAPEMA and Inova Maranhão.
